I live in Yerevan, Armenia, with my father and two sisters, I am the eldest child of my family. I remember my early childhood as a happy time surrounded by a large family. However, everything changed when I was ten years old and my mother died from cancer. It seems that adversity followed from that day forward for my family. My father tried desperately to manage his job, the daily task of raising us and the constant challenge of childcare. I had to work even though I was only a child, to help my father provide for our family.

During my teenage years, my sisters started attending Young Life club. I noticed a light in the people involved and wanted desperately to resemble them. In 2015, I had the opportunity to go to Young Life camp and hear the Gospel for myself. When I accepted Jesus as my Savior and decided to follow Him, my friends were against my decision and it was very hard for me to be faithful and leave everything I knew. When I overcame this challenge, I found new friends through Young Life who loved and cared for me like family. Many young people in Armenia live without understanding their purpose and have no vision for the future. As a person who has found Jesus, I want to share that light with everyone I encounter.

When serving at Young Life camp, I was responsible for sound, music, and all technical issues. I discovered a passion to mix music and create a special atmosphere for the campers, so I decided to become more professional in this sphere. Upon returning from my time serving in the army, I am now, as a Developing Global Leader, pursuing a degree in sound engineering at the Yerevan State Institute of Theatre and Cinematography. After graduation, I want to use all of my knowledge and skills to make known the love of Jesus to teenagers in Armenia.
