Anna

Hello! My name is Anna. I have lived in a small town in Russia, since I was seven years old. I spent all of my childhood with my grandmother. She took care of me and tried to give me the best life she could. Now everything is a little different; Granny is over eighty years old, and it's my turn to take care of her. She is also the one who brought me to Sunday school throughout my childhood which planted many seeds of faith in my life. When an opportunity arose to go to Young Life camp, I jumped at the chance. I heard about the love of Jesus during club each evening and I started to ask questions about God and how He felt about me. I spent a lot of time with Young Life leaders and attended club regularly and realized that it was essential in my life to follow and serve Jesus. My main goal in life and as a Young Life leader is to tell people about how God works in our life and to lead by example.

Since childhood I have loved to read which is the reason I chose to study philology. Now, a Developing Global Leader, I am able to become a teacher of Russian language and literature. My dream is to connect creativity and education; to make the process of education more interesting, and to show that it's not boring to learn rules. In the future, I want to work with creative people either in journalism or in education. Wherever I end up I hope to use my passion for creative communication to share the Gospel with those around me.
