Jurema

Jurema is a personable and dedicated young woman from the coastal city of Maxixe, Mozambique, located on the east coast of Africa. She grew up in a loving home and was raised in the church, along with her four siblings. Jurema was introduced to Young Life by her older sister while living with her in the city of Beira and going to secondary school. This experience of living away from her parents as a teenager taught her responsibility and resourcefulness and to trust in the Lord’s presence and provision.

Now a Developing Global Leader, Jurema is studying economics at Universidade Sao Tomas de Mocambique. She is excited to combine her passion of being a Young Life leader with the opportunity to grow in her leadership skills and ministry as she pursues her education.
