Poland

Similar in area to the state of New Mexico, Poland is located in Europe between Germany and the former Soviet republics of Lithuania, Belarus and Ukraine. Founded more than 1000 years ago, Poland is currently the sixth most populous nation in the European Union and 34th most populous in the world with 38.5 million people. The country values religious freedom with the majority of the country identifying themselves as Catholic and very small percentages associating with Orthodox, Protestant and other religions.
