The country of Cambodia is slightly smaller than Oklahoma and boasts a tropical climate. Education is not well established and is inaccessible to many rural people; less than one-third of students attend secondary school. The only option for many young men is to become a monk. A majority of Cambodians are Theravada Buddhists, though there are as many as 60,000 Christians in the country.

Young Life in Cambodia has 13 national staff and more than 40 volunteer leaders reaching 200 kids in five different clubs.
