Cristofer

Originally from Nicaragua, Cristofer now lives in Madrid, Spain where he studies social sciences at UNED, the largest public university in Spain.

Cristofer’s encounter with Christ began through some volunteers who visited his neighborhood in Nicaragua. Initially, it was a girl who caught his attention, but it was the atmosphere and fun of Young Life that truly resonated with him. Young Life camp was a transformative experience that introduced him to a life in Christ. Initially he struggled to have a desire to change, but he shared that a night of “sin and failures” led him to eventual repentance and a desire to fully commit his life to Christ. This newfound dedication caught the attention of his leader who recognized Cristofer’s potential to make a positive impact on others. Embracing his leadership qualities, Cristofer became a Young Life leader in his local community.

Cristofer’s life changed significantly when his family moved to Spain. However, he stayed connected to Young Life and got involved in his new local community. Eager to learn and fulfill God's purpose for him in this new chapter of life, he aspires to integrate his professional pursuits with his ministry, seeking to impact the lives of others. Cristofer is poised to embrace new challenges and opportunities that come his way. He shares, “I want to be fully committed to fulfilling God’s will.”
