Nomindari

My name is Nomindari. I live in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia with my dad, mom and brother. My sister now lives abroad and studies in Taiwan on a scholarship. Growing up it was hard to have a dad who was an alcoholic and confusing to not know what I was coming home to each day. I used to feel like I would never be able to forgive my dad, But God has taught me how to forgive and now I can say that I forgive him from the bottom of my heart.

When I graduated from high school, I felt totally separated from God. During that time, a leader told me often she was praying for me. I totally ignored her. Honestly, I didn't even care at that time. She persisted and invited me to church. I'm so glad that I went that day; I learned that God would never leave me and will always be with me. That is the time when I realized everything deep down in my soul and opened my heart to God.

My brother is disabled, and I decided to become a volunteer leader with Capernaum because I wanted to understand and support my brother more. Being part of Young Life Capernaum makes me happy every day. Now a Developing Global Leader, I am studying tourism management at the International University of Ulaanbaatar. I want to spread the gospel through my profession in the growing field of tourism in Mongolia. I am overjoyed to be among the first generation of my family to graduate from university.
