Abigail

Abigail who goes by Abi, is an energetic and joyful young woman who lives in Prague, Czech Republic with her big, beautiful family. She shares many great memories of growing up with her three siblings. Abigail was significantly impacted in elementary school by a difficult move to a foreign country to start a whole new life, but now can see how this new situation helped shape many of the ways she engages with others. She was forced to step out of her comfort zone and initiate with others learning how to share her true self.

Raised in a Christian home, she always knew about Jesus. However, when Abigail was fourteen, she began to get curious about her faith and wanted to grow. She shares, “I gave my life to God and learned to follow Him. I started being more interested in Jesus’ character and I wanted to be more like Him.” Through church, Abigail was invited to Young Life camp, where her relationship grew stronger. She came home with a vision to dive into ministry, seeing the impact it had on changing so many people’s lives, including her own.

As a Developing Global Leader, Abigail is attending the University of Economics in Prague. She is specifically interested in a degree in human resources and economics. When asked about her vision for the future, Abigail expresses, “I hope to improve my leadership skills and better understand how I can use my passions to serve the Lord. I look forward to being mentored and am eager to help build a community for teenagers where they can share faith and learn more about God.”
