Klenn

Klein was brought up in Eldoret, a city in Kenya known for producing the best athletes in the world. Every kid in his community dreamt of becoming famous through participation in marathons. Education was not a priority for most of the kids that grew up with him, nonetheless, Klein had a different dream. Klein narrates “I was a top scoring student in my class. I knew God blessed me with a bright mind so that I can become an education champion in my community.” Klein was raised by a single parent and his biggest challenge was dealing with the rejection of his father. "My two siblings and I grew up trying to figure out why our father neglected us. We could see our mother 's struggle and this caused a lot of pain in our lives.” says Klein. Klein focused on his school work and worked hard, confident that one day he would change their family situation.

As a teenager, Klein met a community leader who had a passion for mentoring young boys. He attended a WyldLife camp and gave his life to Christ. “I felt great peace in my heart during the few days of camp. There was so much love shown to us and my leader was more of a father and friend to us.” He explains. Klein knew that someday he too wanted to mentor young boys in his community.

Now a Developing Global Leader, Klein’s vision of mentoring hundreds of boys in his community has been achieved. He is now developing leaders who share a similar passion. Klein is currently studying technical and applied physics at the Technical University of Kenya. “My greatest vision is to see more kids in my community embrace education. I hope I will be their inspiration.”
