Sweden

Sweden is the 3rd largest country in the European Union, bordering Norway to the west, Finland to the east, and is connected to Denmark in the southwest by a bridge across a strait. Sweden is slightly larger than the U.S. state of California but with a quarter of the population. Education in Sweden is free and compulsory for children 6-16 years of age with equality being most valued.

Religiously, Sweden is relatively secular. Religion has ended up playing more of a ritual and cultural role, and with immigration, the religious landscape is becoming more diverse and complex. With that said, around 70% of the population claims to be Christian, with the majority (63%) of that population belonging to the Lutheran Church of Sweden.
