Georgia

Not to be confused with the state in the US, Georgia is also a small country in the Middle East. Georgian history is typified by the struggle for national identity which finally resulted in independence from the Soviet Union in 1991. Georgians see themselves as a peaceful and easy-going people who value unity in the family as well as hospitality, even to strangers. They have a popular saying, "Any guest is God's messenger". Georgia, a country rich in history and tradition, is also known for their music and dance.
