Czech Republic

The Czech Republic is slightly smaller than South Carolina and is almost entirely surrounded by mountain ranges. Czech families are usually very tight-knit and both parents typically work outside of the home. Public education is free and almost everyone attends through secondary school, with many choosing a two-year job training program after graduation. For about four decades, atheism was the official "religion" in the Czech Republic, however, now about 60 percent of Czechs call themselves Christians.

Young Life in the Czech Republic has three national staff and 10 volunteer leaders. Approximately 400 kids attend club each year.
